Biofilm formation, multidrug-resistance and clinical infections of Staphylococcus haemolyticus: A brief review

Coagulase-negative staphylococci (CoNS) have been associated with a range of human health issues such as medical device-related infection, localized skin or direct are recognized comprising the main part normal microbiota and severe intensive infections, causing infections in humans, especially immunocompromised patients neonates. S. haemolyticus is, after Staphylococcus epidermidis, second most frequently isolated CoNS from clinical cases, notably blood including sepsis. The important factor might be ability to acquire multiresistance against available antimicrobial agents, even glycopeptides. It is widespread hospitals among staff, resulting being an emerging microbe nosocomial infections. This review discuss aspects bloodstream associated, virulence factors, biofilm formation on devices surfaces. great adaptability survive hospital environment, devices, becomes crucial caused by multiresistant strains.
